I have the SP spoiler and every time I open the boot it rams into the antenna... Confused

I want to get a Bi Plane spoiler which will be even higher.

Will I need to remove the antenna or alter the angle?

Thats correct you have the early rear mounted aerial that will hit the spoiler when the boot is open. Peugeot fix was some clear tape on the spoiler.

This is nothing to worry about as the aerial bend, fit the Bi Plane and you will be fine

Isnt this a common problem with the rear aerial catching the spoiler? My gti aerial is front mounted and the other two i have had where aswell.

It was when Peugeot moved the aerial to the rear, it was fitted to far back and as such the spoiler would touch it.

As said their fix was some clear tape but its nothing to worry about really its not going to damage it

Thanks for clearing up. Very Happy

It's strange they would stick the antenna so close to the end anyway... Confused

I'm going to fix this problem when I swap my aerial from the front to rear :),because the car with rear aerial looks much better than the front mounted one Wink
