How? It's never affected mine before, had a few chips repaired and even 2 screen replaced and that has never change my insurance.
#19: Re: Windscreen chip Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Tue May 29, 2012 5:39 am ---- It does say on the mrs documentation that a windscreen repair or replacement doesn't affect your NCB

You can be refused cover if you want to get a higher risk car if you've had any claims. & that includes windscreen repair claims.

To many people confuse NCB with what risk they are deemed. I learnt the hard way when 2 stone chip repairs & a replacement screen on the same car within a year, led to my insurers declining to insure my TT.

I have dealing with Autoglass and they wasnt that great but could of just been the person that came out to me tho.
Ive had dealings with Autoglass twice during my 405 owning days.
1st time ended up with a complaint to my insurance company due to Autoglasses pisspoor fitting effort & damage to the car caused by the fitter.
2nd time they refused to fit a genuine Peugeot screen as they said it was to expensive ( £96 list as I checked ) so after speaking to my insurance company RAC auto windscreens got the job & fitted a genuine Peugeot screen
