#1: Spoiler coming loose Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:41 pm ---- I had my spoiler fitted at dealers and they bolted and bonded it on. Its slightly wobbly on one side and I'm just wondering how can I get to the bolt to tighten it
#2: Re: Spoiler coming loose Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:53 pm ---- Did they definitely bolt it? Seems very strange that both methods have undone.
#3: Re: Spoiler coming loose Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 12:58 pm ---- Definately both I spoken to the guy who done it, any idea how I can get to the bolt?

#5: Re: Spoiler coming loose Author: spike_202, Location: West midsPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:21 pm ---- If you open the boot up and luck in the corners there is a rubber seal take it off and the bolt should be behind there
#6: Re: Spoiler coming loose Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:26 pm ---- Does this piece of plastic have 2 plastic popper clips on? So I can just yank it off?
Having a good look there's a gap between the spoiler and boot and I think they fibbed - no glue there
#7: Re: Spoiler coming loose Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:32 pm ---- The little plastic 'clips' - There is a little circle in the middle, tap a small )glasses) screwdriver/Nail/paperclip into it, the pin pushes out of the back, the cover then practically falls out.
One slight problem is putting them back in. Never had to, so never tried.

#11: Re: Spoiler coming loose Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Sat Jun 09, 2012 9:59 am ---- Got onto this today, pushed the pegs out of those clips, and the two screws on the wobbly side were slack so tightened them up. No more wobbling
Put the pegs back in the outside of the clips and push them back into place when the bit of plastic is back on the tailgate.
I had another look between the tailgate and spoiler in the daylight, they did use glue but it must be soft stuff
