#1: Squeaking front passenger wheel? Author: kit325, Location: LondonPosted: Tue Jun 05, 2012 12:22 pm ---- My 206 front left wheel start to make a loud squeaking noise (only at low speed 10mph -25mph). It passed MOT about 3 weeks agop without any problem.
After driving above 50mph for a few minutes, this annoying sound will go away. However next day when u start driving, u can hear the same squeaking sound.
Anyone know or experienced similar problem? Any advice or help will be appreciated, thz!

#6: Re: Squeaking front passenger wheel? Author: R_D_G, Location: HuddersfieldPosted: Wed Jun 06, 2012 5:55 am ---- I had one done about 2 months ago and it was just over £100 for the bearing to be done, some people wanted £200 for it so best to shop around.

Author: Jensen, Location: ScunthorpePosted: Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:16 am ---- You can get it done alot cheaper than that, you just to know the right people, have a search on here and I'm sure there will be someone close that can do it, my mate got his 180 front bearings done for £70 including parts from some guy down the road

Tempted to change it my self unfortunately don't have a press to release the bearing from the hub. Will this more difficult than changing the wishbones?

Just spend 3 hours cleaning the front disk brakes and the suspension, found out that at my rear nearside wheel is not spining smoothly cause tyres actually is taching the inner arch and tyre wall being rub away a bit. I swap the rear tyre to the front and the squaking noise is gone.
