#1: What Oil, Brake Fluid, Screen Wash shall I use in my car? Author: DJKaySee, Location: UK, England,NottinghamPosted: Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:46 am ---- So my car is officially back on the road 29th June, and I want to have everything ready by then hence the garage trip 11th June.
I'm new to owning a car so I am not clued up about what the best to use of certain stuff is in regards to general car operation , so I request your wisdom on some things below.
--------------------
206
1.4L Petrol
--------------------
Oil
What is the best oil I should be using ?. I heard something about Magnatec or something ?
Brake fluid
Is there any specific one that's the best or are they all the same?
Windscreen wash
Anything that's better than the rest ?
Any other consumables that should be put in the car ? (Please don't say Petrol :D)
Cheers Guys

The reason of me being confused is not the fact that I 'Obviously don't read' but it would be a result of stuff like 10W40 as I have no clue what these mean, The same goes with FMVSS 116 DOT4. A little explanation what these mean would be nice.

Dot 4 brake fluid in your car any make it won't make a differnce.
Screen wash won't make a differnce any brand.
