So I bought some crystal headlights from work earlier, and stripped them down for painting instead of answering the phones like I should...

Just wondering If anyone's seen any pics of anything colour coded to their car. i.e red on a red car, blue on a blue car etc...

Valeo did them in Aegen Blue, Black, Firedance and Cherry Red.

Didn't know that, thought they only did black ones.

Actually. Maybe I invented the blue ones. The others are genuine though.

Just found out its china blue on mine. Not the one in my avatar pic, gotta new one now Smile

If I respray the insert, staz999 reckons I need to bake it afterwards in the oven so the heat from the bulbs doesn't blister the paint?

Also, do I need to worry about priming and lacquering or can I get away with just sanding then spraying?

i did mine with normal spray and theyve always been spot on not bubbled or blistered at all Smile i wouldnt sand them just give them a good clean dry them properly making sure there's nothing on them, primer-spray-lacquer.. job done
