#1: Masked crystals Author: Still_Rolling, Location: KetteringPosted: Thu Jun 07, 2012 11:26 am ---- So I bought some crystal headlights from work earlier, and stripped them down for painting instead of answering the phones like I should...
Just wondering If anyone's seen any pics of anything colour coded to their car. i.e red on a red car, blue on a blue car etc...

If I respray the insert, staz999 reckons I need to bake it afterwards in the oven so the heat from the bulbs doesn't blister the paint?
Also, do I need to worry about priming and lacquering or can I get away with just sanding then spraying?
#9: Re: Masked crystals Author: Jensen, Location: ScunthorpePosted: Thu Jun 07, 2012 4:57 pm ---- i did mine with normal spray and theyve always been spot on not bubbled or blistered at all i wouldnt sand them just give them a good clean dry them properly making sure there's nothing on them, primer-spray-lacquer.. job done
