Or something like that, it's located in the steering wheel and apparently is something to do with the airbags???? :-/ anyone got any info on this as apparently mine has broken causing the air bag light to stay on

Com 2000 unit in your case & thanks to the GTI 180 having ESP fitted there really expensive due to the ESP steering angle sensor being built in to it

And I got quoted £355 for the part and if it needs pairing up with the car aswel as fitting it will come to £537 :-/ any opinions ???
