basically, Ia m trying to wire a switch for some footwell lights, using the Alarm switch, but, from what I have found, wired up, It is only a momentary switch, not a toggle one, is there anyway I can adapt or change it so, instead of it only being off when I hold it in, It will be off when I press it in and let go, then on when I do the same again.

The inside of the switch looks like this;

- - -
- o o
0 0 0

The - means a connector, the o basically means where there is a hole for a conector.
I was connecting up to the top left and top right, works both ways around, just not how I want it to work.

Any ideas? I really want to use the Alarm switch, so people can't tell its there really, and it looks like I have an alarm Laughing

Does that fit in the same place? Or is that elsewhere? I can nip down the scrappy at the weekend to look for one.

Just wire it up to a new switch.
