Hi,

I know its be covered before but i am having problems..

I have looked under my original window switch and it appears that i have the connection for electric mirrors, I took my old mirrors of and they had a brown plug, with 4 wires i think, the new electrics have a white plug with 9 wires or so.

I bought a whole door wiring harness, but when i got it home i noticed that the connection is different.

MIne has what looks like just a square plug, as opposed to this

Any body got any ideas of how i can splice this..

to my original door harness, or am i onto plums??

This is the original plug...

Cheers if anyone can help

On the splice subject you would have to cut into the wire somewhere near to were your holding it and just run a wire off a solderd joint. then join it up to were ever you need to go with a long wire then use some loom tape/convex tubing to cover it up.

What i really need to know is what the what wires do what, im not sure would i run a wire from the electric mirror to power it, but what wires would control it..I think i might just scrap the idea of having working mirrors and just have the switch fro show...ballderdash!
