the axle stud are press on and i doubt any garage in UK would touch it.

(apart from axle rebuild company which they can rebuild it of course)

Hmmm I have a spare beam round the back of the garage I'll see if there is any way of doing it... I always thought it was a solid bar going right throuh the tube.

but in fact i think all of the above you can replace the stud. Laughing

to me it looks like you can pull out the tube and the cross membrane together (as i also see a little gap between the cross membrane and the main tube)....

but 9 out of 10 you need a good machine...so better ask Mr. BSi Laughing

Hmm this could save a few axles including my spare 180 one if they can be removed, new stubs/bearings then it's practically a new axle.

Never realy heard or delt with such company's like that, all I did was got a 2nd hand one and had it fitted as only paid £150 (fitted) so I couldn't say no at the time as mine nakkerd.

nearly all axle rebuild company sold the rebuild axle as exchange bases; you have to pay a deposit which they will refund it to you once you return you old axle
