But you can buy the end pieces for 50 euros each.
I just got one axle end and 2 bearing sets delivered 115 euros including postage.
the axle stud are press on and i doubt any garage in UK would touch it.
(apart from axle rebuild company which they can rebuild it of course)

to me it looks like you can pull out the tube and the cross membrane together (as i also see a little gap between the cross membrane and the main tube)....
but 9 out of 10 you need a good machine...so better ask Mr. BSi
#25: Re: Rear axle problems again Author: spike_202, Location: West midsPosted: Fri Jun 29, 2012 4:18 pm ---- Hmm this could save a few axles including my spare 180 one if they can be removed, new stubs/bearings then it's practically a new axle.
#26: Re: Rear axle problems again Author: Seabook, Posted: Fri Jun 29, 2012 4:24 pm ---- that's why axle rebuild company always need you old axle back!

nearly all axle rebuild company sold the rebuild axle as exchange bases; you have to pay a deposit which they will refund it to you once you return you old axle
