#1: What color is... Author: Jack123, Location: Earl Shilton UKPosted: Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:33 pm ---- ...This front section, Asked and the seller claims its a 2000 Cherry Red 206, I'm only after the bumpers, but, they don't look right, or is it just me?
They looks discolored, But I'm not sure, figured I would ask for some opinions.

#3: Re: What color is... Author: 2Oh!6, Location: GloucesterPosted: Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:36 pm ---- Looks more pink than red on the bumpers, red is a PITA to paint match especially if you are buying parts off another car.
#4: Re: What color is... Author: Dillon, Location: KentPosted: Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:37 pm ---- Could be that one of those is flamenco red...
#5: Re: What color is... Author: tomd0801754, Location: MoscowPosted: Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:39 pm ---- Nope. Flamenco Red is darker.
Your car IS EKB - Cherry Red.
Those bumpers....Could well be, as there is no other Reds from Peugeot similar to that in the UK. So could well be very faded.
#6: Re: What color is... Author: Davies, Location: ManchesterPosted: Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:39 pm ---- The car looks EKB with KKN bumpers

Yeah I've noticed, Ended up with some Diablo red bumpers so far, Anyone know at what it would cost roughly to get the bumper sprayed to be CC?
Sigh.
I thought Flamenco red was in the middle of Diablo and Cherry? That seems lighter then Cherry.
#8: Re: What color is... Author: Barking, Location: sarcasm-in-shedloadsPosted: Tue Jul 03, 2012 3:42 pm ---- Any non-metallic red 206 built before October 2003 will be Cherry Red and Phase 1.
Looks like the bumpers need a bit of paint correction/polishing.
It could also be that the original owner has resprayed them? 206 L (possibly LX too) bumpers are not body-coloured, and that front bumper strip has been sprayed.

Does that mean my 206 is non-metallic? Here is me thinking it was
Yeah, I have an L, A mate has the LX, that is all color coded apart from the black strip on the bumpers and the door strips, and stuff.
