The rear fog light can be removed in the same way the indicators are removed.
Push the fog lamp to one side, i think its the left, that will release the clip then allow it to come towards you.
Once out, twist the grey plug and release it from the fog lamp and then you can change the bulb.
i open the boot to access the back of the rear light and I can see fabric boot trim blocking my way. How do i remove this trim?

You will see the wiring with the grey plug. If you twist the plug it will come out with the bulb holder. Swap the bulb over then do the reverse to replace it.

Have you put a multimeter across he contacts of the bulb holder to make sure 12v is getting to it?

The answer is on this site somewhere, but like you I can't be bothered to search for it.
You can have this one for free, open the bonnet and think of a number between 5 and 7. It should be the colour of the films you keep hidden under your bed.

Forgive me as I'm new to the site , yeah I checked out the fuse link on this site and there are 3 layouts? I'm confused as I belive there should be 2 fuse boxes right?

You should have got a link to this sent to your inbox when you joined the site. It's worth having a read as there is a lot of information that you are going to need to know, including a useful fuse list.
You may be new to the site, but you are asking very basic questions which make me think you are new to cars. By messing with the electrics when you know nothing about them you risk doing more damage. If in doubt, pay someone to do the job for you. It will work out cheaper in the long run.

im still confused as the fuse list link is showing in showing 3 tables. Is Maxi fuse BM34 the same as Fuse box under bonnet BM34?
Fuses in BSI means the fuse box underneath the steering wheel right?
