The heater in my 206 blows sometimes and then switches itself off and then comes back on. Then it will have a spell of being fine. Got a mind of its own Confused

Just wondered if there was a trouble shoot to fix or does the blower motor need replacing. Its a GTi and has climate/A/C. Thanks in advance Wink

Thought as much, can remember replacing one before on an old Gti and it was a nightmare to get out, maybe it will be easier second time round! And cheaper as I had to buy it new from the Pug dealer Sad

I can remember having all sorts of trouble getting it out last time, as I remember it was a case of taking out the glove box, a few torx screws and the top part of the centre dash (clock bit). Then twist and it comes out! How did you get on with yours Question

Blower motor came out really easy today, glove box removed, two plugs pulled out the bottom of the blower, there was a screw visible but it wasn't holding the motor in. Quick twist clockwise with a pair of large adjustable pliers as I know how tight these are fitted and out it came. 10 minutes in all.

Haven't got the replacement yet but ready to install when it arrives!

Well the replacement blower motor came this am. Popped it in, connected back up, turned on the car, nod to the gods and hey presto, works a dream! Must say it was a result £10 plus £6.00 postage. Looks like I won for once, chuffed...
