#1: Engine immobiliser fault. Author: Sprotty, Location: newarkPosted: Mon Jul 09, 2012 12:13 pm ---- Done this twice now in the past week. Comes up with engine immobiliser fault, it cranks over but won't start. The first time I left it for 10mins and it started fine. Did it again on my driveway tonight, took the key out and tried it again and all is well. Any ideas what could be causing this?

When it wont start open the drivers door & see if the key in ignition beep sounds

Located around the ignition barrel

Your car is multiplexed so it needs the multiplexed version of the 206 transponder aerial
