#1: Suspension issues, info required Author: bart84, Location: lancashirePosted: Tue Jul 10, 2012 3:13 pm ---- Not really a problem, but could do with some advise.
Thinking of lowering my 206 but how low will it drop if torsion bar is lowered 1 spline, and how low would I need to lower the front to match ride height?
Also finding it hard to find a complete spring and shocker kit for a reasonable price, any suggestions?
Not wanting it sat on its Ar$e as only want to fill the gap in the arches
Cheers
Rob

Also, don't do the spline method, you put more strain on the rear beam that way. The correct method is to put a jack under the arm, measure hub to arch, remove the torsion bars, adjust the height of the arms according to how low you want to go, then put the bars back in. Its about 2 bolts more difficult than the spline method. there's a full how to somewhere, just search
Lower the back marginally less than whatever you do the front, looks best in my opinion
