Erm which wheels are you running? Im running the vortex wheels on 3mm spacers all round and hankook v12 evo tyres in 205/40/17 all round. And where abouts on the arch does it catch?

I've got 205/40/17in Lenso's on it. They're the same as Kahn RS-S.
No spacers and its scrubbing the outer rear tyre walls slightly sometimes when I've got two people in the back.
I've got SP arches to go on as well when I've sprayed them but I don't want to make it worse!

Hi mate just flatted it back, masked it up, primed and painted using aerosol from halfords which was the right colour code, also did my fan at the same time. Plenty of lacquer on both and they're holding up well and look good Smile thanks!

Ah yeah to be honest different makes of tyres are all slightly different sizes anyway even when they are marked as the same size. Even running spacers my tyres are probs 1-2mm away from the outer wall though, maybe your rims are slightly wider than the vortex ones?

Although i liked the sp arches i couldnt help thinking they made the car look a little cluttered, and the same for the morettes i'd bought so ive sold both of those and spent the last couple of days getting the car back up to scratch.
Some pics.....

Fairly happy with it now but im planning to do the cambelt soon-ish and im contemplating giving the underside and engine bay a bit of a tart up at the same time, ie stainless bolts, re-painted brackets etc.

Yeah looks very nice indeed mate, good work!
I'm finally finishing off spraying n fitting my arches tomorrow. Apparently if you move the top clip around away from the peak of the arch, it minimises any scrubbing, so hopefully it at least wont get any worse eh! Wink
I'll have to get round to doing my own project forum article one of these days! Haha

Cheers for the love everybody struggling to keep it clean at the moment though think this winter's going to be harsh!

@Jamie yeah tis quite low but i love how it sits and it does handle really well, the roads are a bit iffy around here just got to watch where you're going sometimes haha!

@Gogs just hit 70k this weekend, Cambelt is planned for the next month or so i've priced up the parts last week so time to get it in the workshop i think!

Well today hasn't gone quite as planned ( as usual with cars haha, teach to me to trust the parts guy! )
Got the car up on the ramp, made a start, oils out & replaced, went to make a start on the cambelt, all looking good, got it all locked up after a bit of messing around, covers off, cambelt off, tensioners & idlers off.

Boom! Idiot promised he had sent the correct water pump but its not! No chance of getting an engine mount and the correct water pump on a Sunday. So going to ring up first thing tomorrow and get that sorted, should be back together tomorrow after work with the rest of the stuff done.

Oh and as i was taking it apart found this....i had my suspicions so one is also on its way.

So its sat on the ramp looking sorry for itself at the moment!
Still, never goes smoothly haha.
