#6: Re: I Have F****d Up :( Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:05 pm ---- Easy to open the bonnet of a locked 206. I'll take a photo. All you need is a long screwdriver to push the latch through the slats in the grille.
#7: Re: I Have F****d Up :( Author: seany_brown, Location: Wrexham, North WalesPosted: Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:05 pm ---- its non central locking all by key, i opened my bonnet took my rocker cover off and them left my bonnet on catch, the next day i sprayyed my rocker cover put keys on the battery and then slammed the bonnet :'(

Wise move
You need to try and get access to the wire, if you can get under the car, you may be able to easier.

a brick is quicker
#12: Re: I Have F****d Up :( Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:21 pm ---- Shine a torch through the slats and you can see the block on the end of the cable. Just get a large screwdriver and push it to the right. Bonnet should open easily.

Errr please don't try this! As the OP said they are resting on the battery. It could short the battery by touching both + and - or blow all the fuses in the fuse box that is next to battery.
Worse.... Advice.... Ever

Don't know how big your keys are, but mine would struggle to touch the positive terminal and any part of the body work at the same time, let alone the negative terminal.
Still a pretty daft idea though because it would take quite a bit of luck to bounce the keys off the battery in such a way that they have a clear drop to the floor. On mine the battery tray and air intake pipe would be in the way.
Worst advice ever would be try using a coat hanger bent into a hook and reach up from underneath to try and drag the keys from the battery. That is unless your battery positive terminal has insulation over it!

Why would you have both keys on same key ring, the other one is called "spare" for reason,to be used in times you lose the 1st key.

#33: Re: I Have F****d Up :( Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Fri Jul 20, 2012 12:01 pm ---- A trip to a Peugeot main dealer with proof of ownership & photo id would easily have got a standard transponder key cut to the VIN number, at least the door could then have been opened.
Seems to be a lot of rubbish / half a story posts on here lately.
If only people would post up all the known facts & be truthful they would get a much better answer to help them out
