If its the case though, it certainly explains the original poster's issue!

Peugeot like doing things backwards. Inj 1 is gearbox end.
100% sure, that's why injector 4 always failed first because of the bonnet vent

100% sure, that's why injector 4 always failed first because of the bonnet vent
Its NOT the bonnet vent
Its the washer jet, rain water leaks behind the washer jet & drips straight down on to number 4 injector, thats why 206's with the under bonnet cover dont seem to suffer from injector failures.
