has anyone tried fitting a 106 GTI/VTS engine in a 206???? will it work...??? thanks

Although I dont know if the wiring would be an issue.
Not sure it would be worth it though.

You will need to change a LOT more - main issue being the wiring but I know the upper engine mount is in a totally different location for a start

I'd say it would only be worth it if you can warrant the need to take the engine out (current one broken, building the XSI motor to a better spec on a stand, painting the engine bay etc), otherwise you'd be better off buying an XSI to begin with
