Well as some of you who are on my Facebook know, I've got myself a new 180 Very Happy Glutton for punishment eh?..

It was previously a user on here's 'TOP206' and credit where its due he did keep it very nice indeed Smile

So here we have it..

25K on the clock

The day I got it this is how it looked Smile

Well as I had my old 180 bits that I could just swap over I went along and did...

Firstly was the rear brake and fog light they were white LED ones before but I prefer the standard red ones keep it the OME look ;), No pictures of this yet but you will see as we go on Smile

Next up was Swapped the bonnet vent, front badge back to silver & wind deflectors fitted Smile

I then decided I liked the Cupra splitter better so swapped that over too, Along with my typhoon induction kit & red engine cover:)

Little picture with my mates type R, Swapped headlights over to genuine black masked crystals, Still have morettes so can swap back if I change my mind Smile

Well lastly I had my plate swapped over so off with the old...

And on with the new...

Thought I'd take a cheeky photo of it after work earlier too Smile

So thats it for now, I plan to keep this pretty much as it stands now.

Just afew things such as petrol cover recoated to match alloys and just maintain and enjoy the car! Very Happy

I don't understand why you would sell a 180 then buy another one straight after Confused .

Old one had 86k on it, bodywork needed a bit of work, so for what I got this for to fix the bodywork on my old one it would have cost about the same. So it was a no brainer for me really having a car with a quarter of the miles on it...

Can't decide if to me looks better this one or yours "old" one GTI180.
IMO it's the best looking colour for GTI180.

i was confused when i saw this as ialways thought you had a 180, but now i know, fair play it makes sense

do you plan on lowering it? i havnt lowered my hdi yet i kind of like it compared too my lowered 1.1 (looks wise)

did you sell your old alloys with the car?

No plans of lowering at current plan on leaving it just as it is pretty much bar a exhaust rubber to pick that sagging Janspeed up ;), Nope old alloys are in the garage, Put a set of standard silver ones on Smile

Cheers for the comments Smile

Bezford: I used many different car cleaning products & spend far to much money on them ha. But I use Autoglym super resin polish followed by Autoglym HD wax. Then in between full details I use quick detailer sprays.

Car was also machine polished using Meguiars #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish & Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze.

Hope this helps

Blob mate one of the last of them its on a '55' plate so has the 2.0 engine a posed to the troublesome 2.5 engine the big end bearings use to kept picking up and the pistons fracture between the piston rings

Wise choice. I did enjoy my blob eye. I first had a frog eye, then a blob and then went to a classic strangely enough. The blob felt very refined compared to the classic, god i loved that classic. It was a uk turbo but it was an ex prodrive demo car running 300 bhp
