Please can anyone help me my Peugeot 206 1.1 lx 2001 Y reg has complete ECU failure.

I have had the unit tested by an independent ECU testing compnay they came back with 'beyond repair'.

I urgently need to get a replacement/second hand/refurbished ECU but have been told varying stories as to what will work.

I am of the understandign that in order to do a code swap i have to find a second hand ECU with the same part number, SW number and HW number?

Please can anyone clarify exactly what i need that would be a suitable replacement to get my car running again.

My part numbers of my ECU are listed below.

IAW 48P2.70
HW 16.623.004
HW 9645989480
SW 16.449.094
SW 9645243180

You need the same Magneti Marelli ecu & it really needs to come from a TU1 ( 1.1 ) 206.

It helps if you get the VIN number of the car the ecu came from to aid with the recoding to your cars immobiliser.
