Now this is not a problem, but I'm wondering why my Clifford Alarm goes off when I leave my phone in the car...

Past 3 days I have left my phone in different places in the car and about 3minutes later my alarm goes off...

I remove the phone, alarm doesn't go off, I replace the phone (Anywhere in the front) and the alarm goes off 3 minutes later.

Now this is a good feature (be this intentional or by fault) as I was wondering where my phone was haha.

Oh my phone doesn't have to ring or anything for it to trigger the alarm...

My alarm is a Clifford Concept 300

Maybe the phone searching for a signal interferes with the alarm sensors??

More than likely sat on a data connection causing interferance. Switch the phone off then leave it in the car

Why would I want to do that ? I Like the fact it reminds me the phone is still in the car. Only ever happens when the cars locked etc so its a good safety feature...

Maybe my insurance will refund me some pennies as it will reduce the risk of item theft :-D.

To see if its the phone causing interferance to set the alarm off?

Do you have a 5 button Clifford master remote? If you do then you need to adjust the proximity sensor setting on your alarm, most alarm fitters dont bother to do this on installation & thats why a lot of people moan about Clifford alarm systems.

You need a 5 button Clifford master fob to adjust the sensativity of the proximity sensor.

If the bleeps have turned themself OFF it means the siren internal battery voltage is to low Wink

I hate alarms that beep when you lock / unlock, bloody annoying Twisted Evil
