#1: Peugeot Planet 2000 Info (Lee,Mr.BSI) Author: Steve206, Location: UKPosted: Thu Jul 26, 2012 3:30 pm ---- Ive just got a hold of this from ebay, which to all intents has worked(read my fault codes) but i know i can use it to activate things. For instance, if i wanted to activate auto locking, how would i do that?
Also, i have 2 faults, if i try to clear them, it says error, any ideas? I also noticed there is a 40 limit on error codes, what happens when you hit that?
Thanks

If you reach 40 then the memory is full and you can never clear fault codes again. So if it's in limp mode, it will stay in limp mode for ever. You have to get the eeprom cleared or get a new ECU, both cost around the same.
If it says error....engine running or not?

Also how can i check paramters, im interested in the 02 sensors, and fueling. Thanks for the info.

China clone doesn't always let you view graphic parameters
Test by ECU > EDC15 > Parameters > Air and Fuel
Yeah its a bit dodgy! Ebay Best! What version do you run?

So it will be IAW or S2000 not EDC15
#9: Re: Peugeot Planet 2000 Info (Lee,Mr.BSI) Author: Steve206, Location: UKPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2012 2:23 pm ---- Have been out to have a play tonight, activated the auto locking! I cant clear my codes though, is this because it is a clone? Also, how can i find out my ECU? I dont have the parameter option either ECU>IAW or S2000 doesnt show.

whats this 40 limit on code clearing? is that just with peugeot plannet?
each time you clear the fault code the ecu will log the history; up to 40 times. after the limit you can no longer clear the fault code.
have seen so many time people need to bin the ecu because of this
#12: Re: Peugeot Planet 2000 Info (Lee,Mr.BSI) Author: anton1989, Location: west midlandsPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2012 3:00 pm ---- not good, never new this, been clearing codes the last 2 days,, cleared 7, 5 came back cleared them then they came back, i need to just fix the problem lol
so how do i know how many codes i have cleared? why is there a limit? bit rubbish if the privious owner has had some cleared also
can this not be reset before the limit has reached?
