#1: Indicator Stalk Author: mattvaretto, Location: BuryPosted: Fri Jul 27, 2012 6:30 am ---- When I push the indicator stalk down to turn left and then turn the steering wheel to full or nearly full lock the stalk doesn't click back to the middle automatically. It tends to just click over and over again or go too far and goes up and indicates right?
Anyone any ideas?

Think I'll be off there tomorrow to pick one up.

Electric windows & mirrors have nothing to do with the functions on the com unit
Go for one with a trip computer button on end of wiper stalk, then get the larger 3 line MFD as it will be all plug & play, plus its a nice easy upgrade on a 206.

It would be OK if they wrote the descriptions properly. I think this is the right one for me, front fogs, no trip button and no auto functions.
#12: Re: Indicator Stalk Author: MrBSI, Location: What's it to you? ? ?Posted: Fri Jul 27, 2012 11:05 am ---- I need one with auto lights & wipers, front & rear fogs plus trip computer function.
I want to check the price new from Peugeot first, gonna have to have a look at the part number on the back of the com as mines not the original spec fitted to the VIN number so Service Box is a non starter without the part number

I know but just trying to decipher which model the car was. It's not doing any harm just annoying. If anything else gets worse will look at replacing it

#17: Re: Indicator Stalk Author: Nellie, Location: DevonPosted: Wed Aug 22, 2012 5:38 am ---- Hi There is a bloke on ebay who repairs those types of Faults for a fraction of the cost of a new unit and there is no worries about getting the correct one. He cannot repair the DELPHi units but the other ones he can. I have used him and the service was excellent about 3 days in total. I cannot recall his user name exactly but I think its emma.bolton or something very similar, worth a try i reckon.
If you do pls let me know how things go
Regards
Neil

The new Valeo unit's that Euro supply feel a 1000 times more robust & better to use
Euro car parts can pinpoint the correct com 2000 unit from the VIN number if you speak to them

I got the exact same problem eg Indictors stop working and lights come on.... tap stalk and indicators come back on. Also horn only works on one side of steering wheel (not sure if its related?)

Make of com unit doesnt matter on a 206 UNLESS it has certain earlier BSI software packages installed.
