#1: Windscreen wipers have no intermittent mode = bad relay? Author: Sim, Location: West CountryPosted: Sun Jul 29, 2012 6:09 pm ---- Hello,
On the first-up wiper stalk position front wipers are supposed to go intermittently.
It does not happen, no relay clicks, nothing.
Other positions work fine.
The sensor above rearview mirror is missing - just a small hole for it. Did not unscrew the mirror to investigate further, but probably sensor never was there on the first place.
Removed BSI, inspected soldering of relays, looked OK. If it is a relay problem, where can I buy the wiper relay replacement ? eBay returns results only for "Peugeot 206 indicator relays", not for wipers
Will inspect which relay it is exactly with a multi-meter, and then will have to drill a "door" (as in www.peugeotforums.com/...ment-4329/ )
But before I delve, would you recommend checking something other than relay? (the stalk is fine, I have probed it with voltage continuity tester, and the intermittent switch toggles correct voltage on respective wires)
Cheers a bunch!
