Electric window switch
-> 206 Problems

#1: Electric window switch Author: mattvaretto, Location: Bury PostPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2012 1:40 pm

So I took the cover for the above off to paint and the switch with the long plastic piece underneath still attached. When I went to replace it the switch works still but the switch doesn't automatically return to the middle like it should. I've tried taking it apart and refitting it together but still doesn't work. I ended up getting frustrated and just leaving it so any help would be massively appreciated!!

Thought about that but the wiring for the electric windows won't come out. It's got a metal surround on it and I can't remove the wires :s

Press the clip on the connector plug & it will slide out.

For the electric mirror connector press the clip in then slide the lever down past it to unlock it.
