hi ok so i went to a scrappy and found a 206 with a bumper which had fog lights inside it. the guy wanted £35 for it but i cant remember if its a sport or non sport.

i want to put it on my car: Rolling Eyes
pre-plex
2000 (xreg)

i want the fog lights to work. will their be connectors already there for the fog lights after the bumper is removed or will i have to manually connect a wire to them.
also what will i need inside the car to turn the fog lights on? a new cheap switch or another stalk like the headlight one.

thanks

also is it easy and would their be any point of going through with the whole swap

Think you need a new stalk from Lee.

Usually the easiest way it to install a switch into the panel one the right side (near knee position) on the airbag panel.

You could do it properly, but I think you'd need a bsi update. If I am correct you can use your current stalk.

There is already a switch for my fog lights. Same place as rear fog lights. The previous owner installed as there is a hand switch thing for radio but it doesnt work. Lol

would the connections for the fog lights already be there as they share the same wiring loom?

That depends, some models have the wiring and connections, others dont.

Eitherway your, cheapest and simplist option would be to retro-fit the wiring and switch, as suggest by Matt.

Your other option is new stalk with the a front fog switch and possibly a new underbonnet fusebox, this is due the the fact some boxes (like mine) doesn't have the socket for the front fog fuse.
Then find a dealer or a member on here, who has PeugeotPlanet, to turn the fog light option 'on' within the BSI.

Ultimatly to do all the above you would need the front fog wiring loom, although you can take it from another model but the time, money and effort to go completley OEM would be a personal choice.

I went for the simpler/cheapest option Very Happy

If he wires them into the headlights, its more than likely he'll get pulled by the police.
Ive been pulled over for having my fogs on when it wasn't foggy..

So there's no easy fix. Slot plug A into slot 3 type thing?

If you want to connect them up via a stork you need to see if you have the fuse for it first I believe. Easiest way to do it is to wire them up to a separate switch in the car.

i wired mine upto a separate switch, was ok but its a hell of a lot easier to wire it into high beam, makes sense too,
