#1: NEW 206 Author: ryanovsalford, Location: manchesterPosted: Thu Aug 09, 2012 2:52 am ---- guys needs a bit of help so i currently have a 2000 1.4 petrol and want to go deisel now the question which engine is the best out of the 1.6 and 2.0 i.e best reliability least problems etc and what i need to look out for when buying one chhers any help is good help

From what I hear the 2.0 HDi's are good for over 200k providing its serviced correctly so i wouldn't worry about having a 100k+ car as long as there is history.

Find a 2.0HDi for sale (eBay, Gumtree, Pistonheads, Autotrader) use its reg plate and search some insurance quotes.
My first 206 was a 2.0HDi and it never let me down and the fuel economy was very good..

Insurance group doesn't change. It's the same where ever you live in the country. The final quote depends on all the other factors mentioned.
This site tells you what insurance group each model falls into, so you can see your old model compared to the new. Parkers is a bit more informative by breaking each model down a bit more but very long winded looking for each model
