thanks - the ones I've seen on ebay [that are new] always have a fitting kit which includes screws, bolts etc and a rubber gasket that sits between the spolier 'feet' and tailgate sides. Mine has the rubber gasket between the two panels. Also with new ones it includes a template to attach to the tailgate so that you can accurately drill the holes for the bolts/screws location, that wouldn't happen if they where glued on.
IF there are bolts they don't come right through to the other side; i.e. they only go through the outer tailgate skin and disappear into the space between the outer and inner sheet metal that the tailgate is comprised of, they don't come through the other side [the inside].
I'm thinking, maybe the screws/bolts hold on some sort of foot that 'the spoiler feet' slide into [and lock]?
Any idea's please [anyone]?
many thanks!

I can't see any screws/bolts on the inside of the tailgate, if there are any these must disappear inside the tailgate void between the inner and outer skins?
many thanks!

Open the boot, and look at the underside of the tailgate. On either side, there will be two plastic covers. Remove these and the screws may be under there. If you can't see any screws whatsoever, then the spoiler has been bonded onto the tailgate.
The spoiler does not 'lock' into anything. It is simply held in place by either the screws, or the bonding agent.

What colour is your tailgate? You might find someone will swap you for one without a spoiler if that's the road you want to go down..

I've just purchased the tailgate [cheap] in the right colour because I can't afford the respray cost of the one which was vandalised. The only thing is that the very top/upper surface needs a spray 'flash in' because the courier service damaged it in transit. It would have been easier with spoiler off but it appears it is infact bonded together so I will have to mask it up WITH CARE! I only use spray cans, not a gun & compressor.
Cheers!

OK cheers! ~ I won't need to tiger seal it back on because I'm not even gonna try getting it off in the first place
Just mask it up PROPERLY [time consuming]
