#1: Just noticed some negative camber Author: VorTechS, Location: Gloucestershire, UKPosted: Sat Aug 11, 2012 7:32 am ---- After having got a couple of things sorted on the car recently, I've just been staring at her a**e, and noticed that the rear near side wheel is showing a bit of negative camber.
I've never noticed this before, and I'm pretty sure after she was lowered etc, that there was no signs of camber.
Also, I've noticed that the other side of the car is now sitting a lot lower than it did before (where the most weight is in the rear).
I'm wondering, are both of these potential signs of shocks showing their age?

If it was like that before and you didn't notice it then it was lowered wrongly i suspect.
However the camber is not going to be related to the shock.
Best thing you can do is jack the car up and check the axle for play since its a common wear point. Sadly if you're seeing neg camber the bearings/stub pin are probably not in good shape.
Best to check before jumping to conclusions though

Not aware that I've kerbed the car, especially that side, but maybe the spin weakened the pin and it's slowly been getting worse over time after that...
