#1: Aerial Help Please Author: hayes_ctfc, Location: Cheltenham PostPosted: Sun Aug 12, 2012 3:45 pm

My aerial won't come off to put it simply.
Anyone know anyway that it could be removed or would it have to be a new aerial base?

It's been like it since the day I bought the car.

This is the aerial on the car

Partly come off

The metal thread stuck on the base

And the hollow aerial

This is only annoying me because I want to get a beesting/stubby aerial to go on the car.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried my hands, WD-40, spanners, pliers,

just replace the whole thing mate, there's a bolt you undo, some stubbys come with the base anyway.

looking at buying one myself, what is the best price you have found?

I've just replaced the aerial on my 206 CC
Ok it's a different base and mounted in a different place
I got a new base and whip from Pug and paid £14.38 for the lot (£7.19 each part)
