Hi all,

Brought my little pug 206 GTI (138) a few weeks ago.had a few small issues and I can't seen to find them lol!

Right first off got a clonk/knocking sound.dont always do this when I drive straight..sometimes it will clonk over bumps sometimes it wont.but...if I steer left or right say going Round a roundabout then it knocks its a**e off :S...checked the lower arms, drop links and so on..no real wear anywhere. Any one got any ideas?my EVO had this it was top mounts but it did it driving over bump's.....

Second one is tricky.clutch judders badly but I'm fitting a new clutch soon.the other is when I change gear an let the clutch out it makes a clonk sound.if im
Very very slow it wont.its coming from the engine bay ish area inwas thinking a gear boz mount but they look ok..same as when it judders I get a sound Similar. One rolling and in gear it's fine car drives spot on.

If any one can shed some light that would be awesome! I don't know a lot about pigs as I have an EVO 9 and all my other cars where ford's bar a subaru so I'm new to French cars.

Car is wicked though, goes well..handles well I'm happy.got it cheap hence the niggles but it's a 45k 1 owner car.was driving in the city all the time so stop start.

Cheers

knocking when changing gear is your engine mount just above the sump and the knocking when turning is probably cv joint
