Sidelights not working + soft boot
-> 206 Problems

Hi 03 reg 206, the side lights dont work.
With ignition off nothing, with ignition on dipped lights come on(after a few seconds) when the stalk is moved to sidelights. Lights work as normal if going straight to dipped( ign on or off)
Also noticed the indicators don't work if switch is in sidelight position.

Any ideas?

Im a little worried about investigating further as would need to disconnect the battery, how can i soft boot if the side lights don't work??, assuming i don't fix the fault. Could i just go straight to dipped, or put an indicator on instead of the sidelights.

oh one other thing are the wipers supposed to go to intermittent when you stop at junctions? because mine do

Cheers

Sounds like you have a faulty com2000. There are about £150 to buy new from ECP dependant on model, and take about 20 minutes to fit.

Try a software reset, or has a fuse blown?
