#1: rear wheel bearing Author: kenzie, Location: TelfordPosted: Sun Aug 19, 2012 4:01 am ---- my dad was follwing me the other day and said i have a wobble on the n/s rear of my car, so i jacked it up and i think it the wheel bearing is worn. is this an easy job or will be be best for a mechanic to do or does anyone no of a guide how to change the bearing

This isn't the cheapest but shows a pic .. suggests you get the hub assembly, new hub nut and cover:
You'll need a hub puller to get the old one off and it's highly likely the inner bearing race will stay on the stub axle .. and then you'll need an angle grinder to cut it away to the point when you can crack it so it comes off. (That's how I did one on my Alfa earlier this year).

you got the parts number or size and dimension of just the bearing?
i never been able to find one. pug dealer only sell the complete hubs

I think most garages take the easy option ... complete hub assembly ... less hassle, less time, ...
