#1: steering wheel vibrating Author: anton1989, Location: west midlandsPosted: Tue Aug 21, 2012 2:54 pm ---- hit a massive pot hole today just before going on to the slip road to the motorway now the steering wheel is vibrating at speed and also going side to side when braking, somtimes when going over speed bumps there is a little knocking from the front but not always
wisbones changed few weeks back along with track road ends (lemforder)
could the pot hole knocked my tracking off? could my wheels need re balancing after hitting it? or something else?

Just get the wheel that hit the pot hole on the wheel balancing machine, you will soon see if the rim is damaged when its spun up
Your getting the tracking checked so while your there get the wheel checked / balanced as well.

There's a place in rugby that does mine if you like to know who. It's a place on albert st off railway terrace

Sounds like a total p**s poor tyre fitting place then if there that tight they havent got the adaptor for balancing centreless wheels
