#1: Axle stub pins - anyone changed them Author: Fifer, Location: FifePosted: Thu Aug 23, 2012 10:06 am ---- Has anyone changed the stub pins fitted to the axle? IM axle state on their website they charge 20 per pin if the axle is off the car. Now this seems cheap to me and also means it must be able to be done. I would imagine they are pressed in so how would they be pulled out again?

That would be a good sized press. Having had no end of trouble just trying to free the torsion bars I can imagine the pins would be a nightmare to try and hammer out. Again you would have to go through the axle I believe. Looks like I might just have to save up for a refurb. If I knew where to get pins from and that they would give I would give a try.
