Razpulsedj's Toyota MR2 MK2 Project

After visiting a scrapyard for parts for the puggy (which im still keeping) i came across one of these, sat in it and thought if these drive as good as they are comfy then i want 1

A few days of searching i found the perfect little project one for me for cheap and had a road trip to get it, brought it back and now going to be working on this which should be on the road next year

My Toyota MR2 MK2 92 G limited Edition Import. Comes with half leather interior standard

Ill update this everytime i get something new to throw at it lol

I have some big ideas in mind for this car Smile

This is how she looked when i picker her up

I then removed the numberplate and holder and also fitted the sleepy eye headlight kit which can be turned on and off at any time

I then gave the engine a good clean out with the use of a steam cleaner thanks to Ste, i also stripped off the inlet manifold and gave that a sand blast and spray with some aluminium heat resistant paint aswell as the rocker cover, came out really well.. Before and after shot

The past few weeks myself and Ste have been working on the electrical side of things and finally managed to get a double din headunit installed as the previous owner had ragged the original loom to pieces and we were left with a right mess

Update 30/8/12

I found a Turbo engine hatch bonnet which has vents which stick upwards compared to the standard non turbo vents

Here is a before and after shot aswell as a pic of the vents

11/9/12

Ive treat the car to a lot of parts this month, pictures below

Border Body Kit

OMP Steering wheel and Boss fitted

Rev 3 rear lights

Silver Matte Vinyl wrap, full car will be wrapped

Thanks for looking, this is how the project is currently looking
