Good stuff Smile

Isn't it peculiar though, today i got an engine stopping on me whilst driving at speed and fault code logged was P0335 engine crank sensor circuit A malfunction. Ha! Cleaned up the contacts with electrical cleaner and everything seems fine now but it may be time for me to buy a new CKP sensor too

It seems the crank sensor issue is a virus and spreading too much Smile

The crank sensor will not affect the engine performance once running.
That's interesting. How do you think the ECU finds out the engine rpm or when to inject fuel or ignition timing? Smile

What I mean is USUALLY either the sensor works or it doesn't.
If it was intermittently breaking down and there is no cam sensor it would create total misfires and be really jerky.
Its hard to give good help through forums. It's easy to do like everyone else and just give random guesses based on what their mate says or what they Heard in another forum It would be easy for me to find the fault if the car was in front of me at my workshop.

Is the Crank Sensor the same as a Cam Sensor or are they different things?
