ABS and turning left!
-> 206 Problems

#1: ABS and turning left! Author: Jedster PostPosted: Tue Sep 11, 2012 12:34 pm

Just got an 51 plate 1.6 206 glx 16v auto. Stripped down the brakes and all fine. When braking hard and steering left, there is a lot of crunching/vibration through the pedal and you can here a whirring noise coming from what might be the ABS pump area. It sounds electrical.

Could it be that ring thing on the drive shaft?

Hope you can help folks

Cheers

Jed

Right hand side (front) drive shart (CV joint), or wheel bearing maybe.

don't think its the bearings as AA out and they checked them and read the ecu- no problems. Could it be something to do with the ABS sensor and the ring?
