#1: Dials drop when starting Author: miweb74, Location: Paignton,DevonPosted: Thu Sep 13, 2012 1:29 pm ---- Just recently when turning the key to start,the speedo and tacho needles
whack downwards then go back to normal. This seems to only happen when
first starting. If I turn off and restart,it seems to be ok.
Could it be the battery?

If it was the battery you'd notice dimmed dashboard lights, issues starting in the morning and various other tell tale signs.
It's fine.
