#1: Driveshaft question Author: rich42, Location: WalsallPosted: Sat Sep 15, 2012 2:11 pm ---- My car is a 2001 206cc 2L. The nearside driveshaft gaiter has split, so I bought a driveshaft off ebay.
Checking the shaft in the vice, i can feel some play in the outer CV joint, when I try and rotate it. Does this sound OK? Sould there be any movement?
The inner end is fine, I can't feel any rotational play.
