Andy I change just before the red line but presumed this is known as red lining I.e Gettin the most out of the car or as some might say revving the b******s off it.
Barking I don't for one minute disbelieve what you say, I understand the figures are accurate I have seen videos on YouTube. It just further points to the suggestion that I have a dud.
Or as the other geezer said I have a dud and I'm a crap driver.
I'd like to get the car on a Dyno to check out its power even if I had to pay but I've asked on here before and no one advised me of any places around Manchester where I could get this done.
But I'm sure that would highlight any horrible power problems that I might have.
RSTuning in Leeds is probably the best dyno to use in your area, and they are very helpful if there's anything wrong with your car [over-fuelling, etc].
If you DO have it dyno'd, make a meet of it. I'm sure loads would attend (I would too, if it was on a Saturday)

Don't forget the '180' only really has 12.5 BHP & is slower than every other car ever produced

I think my 180 is not far off being as slow as a Corsa 1.0 Ecoflex which the Topgear magazine states has a very speedy 0-60 of 17.1 seconds.
Okay, so maybe I'm exaggerating. But it's like buying a Porsche 911 Turbo and finding that you can't lose a moderately modified Scooby that's right up your ass. You'd be wounded.
