my question is could you use carbon wrap on it or would the heat make it go crapy?

But engine covers don't get that hot? If it was that hot the engine cover wouldn't be plastic to start with.

i don't see how carbon wrap on the top PLASTIC cover will cause a fire its fine every other single time??
