#1: paintwork touch up [refinishing] Author: PUGPAUL, Location: hornseaPosted: Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:40 am ---- I have applied a layer of touch up paint from halfords [correct code] and it is a lot darker; anyway - never mind that.
How do I get it smooth and shiny without taking off the surrounding paint?

I’ve managed to get small jobs look good for about a 2 -5 days then the paint just sinks and turns satin to matt.

My Dad has rattle canned me spoilers, wings etc no problem to this day.

i'm a professional and have been for over 10 years and i'm not going to back you up, decent results can be had from cans and last alot longer than 2-5 days, you must be using poundland cans
