2.0 HDI timing belt.

Bit of a weird question really.

Can you see the timing/cam belt if you remove the front (driver side) arch lining?

The reason I ask, is me and a mate were working on my car and had said lining off, and he said "whatever belt that is, it looks dried out"

Now I'm shitting myself every time I drive, I can't afford to have it changed yet. Sad

that will be the aux belt.

timing belt has plastic cover (top and bottom)

aux belt is cheap to change. 1 hr labour top.

I got mine changed and it took my mate a max of 20 mins
