#1: Diablo Red 206 XS soon with a T Author: Sadako, Posted: Sat Sep 29, 2012 1:22 pm ---- Quick run down :
1999 V reg single plug 1.6 90bhp motor
GTi f/r bumpers
full gti half leather interior
non functioning a/c
some sort of rear spoiler
Not much to be fair at the moment, need few things looking at first like tracking and stuff like wishbones/track rod ends/ball joint to see what this weird cause is making the steering pull like it wants to bin you in a hedge.
Cars not to bad but as someone went and put the extra bits on paint on the bumpers isn't great neither is the spoiler, thinking I will get the new spoiler done black along with the bump strips. Nimrods are being replaced with Sciroccos as I prefer them and prices of the right size 16" tyres nearly made my a**e drop.
Future plans once everything is done and I know it's mot proof will be consisting of 16v conversion with a few differences unless I find a way to get rid of some stuff in the bay then I will get the itbs on as a temp measure Last edited by Sadako on Fri Oct 26, 2012 12:51 pm; edited 1 time in total

#3: Re: Diablo Red 206 XS with sp bits Author: Sadako, Posted: Wed Oct 17, 2012 2:38 pm ---- standard height from looking at other 206s at work it's the new craze 4x4 stance lol
anyway few small updates interior cleaned out came up quite nice, underneath is nice and solid to no rust at all changed the wheels over to sciroccos which I prefer also investigated the centre display looks to be bulbs or just the display being dead, also sorted the headlights not moving at all problem being whoever did the conversion didn't put the adjuster motors in properly so the motors where just pumping fresh air.
Got few things to sort on the bodywork mainly on the rear arches where paint has chipped needs another sanding down, primer, paint and laquer then job done there. Corner of the front bumper needs smoothing and painting. Standard replacement steering wheel and rear lights en route to replace the current dead items also getting a proper sp spoiler to replace the one I have now to Tracking is being done hopefully this weekend along with a proper check over of everything.
As for "mods" just have a supersprint 4-2-1, cheap 2" manifold back system & itbs to go on as a temp measure, got some mintex discs and pads to go on along with this lot. Lowering will happen at some point once I know how work is going Anyway few pics
#4: Re: Diablo Red 206 XS soon with a T Author: Sadako, Posted: Fri Oct 26, 2012 1:58 pm ---- got a bit more done today no pics mind you, but went to garage to have brakes looked out and car checked over in general. Need rear shoes, driver rear brake cylinder plus a drum for driver side to after this was all done brake are good again thankfully everything else on the car is tidy from looking at it from it being on the 4 poster, only 2 issues to sort leaking pas fluid from the front somewhere and split cv boot.
Plans once all done will be to get it lowered and nimords back on
#5: Re: Diablo Red 206 XS soon with a T Author: Sadako, Posted: Sat Nov 10, 2012 6:21 am ---- Car had some water thrown over it to clear some much, also managed to change to some standard rear lights. Need to sort a few things as mentioned previously driver side outer cv boot, pas fluid leak, centre console display being the main things probably around christmas or new year I'll get the manifold on custom 2.25" manifold back system with a spoon n1 style backbox.
Probably get cracking making the inlet and vacuum box for the throttle bodies over the next few weeks being well, saving the pennies for all this stuff plus lowering is fun :S
