#1: glow plugs Author: 206HdiGti, Posted: Tue Oct 09, 2012 5:44 am ---- Just out of interest is it difficult to change the glow plugs on the 1.6 diesel engine?
I'm used to change sparkies on my petrol motor, but are they in an awkward position?
Not looked under the bonnet since buying it to be honest, so apologies for being naive.

Its looks fairly easy enough on the documentation ive got for them

When it comes to parts such as these is it best to get OEM parts or can pattern parts be just as good?
I do however tend to buy genuine parts though.
