#1: power steering belt Author: Gaz360, Location: LouthPosted: Tue Oct 09, 2012 6:47 am ---- My power steering belt has just snapped so I just had to leave it parked up.
Can I still drive it to the garage? will it make anything worse by driving it? steering is really heavy but its not to far.

Dont have any electrics on like lights, radio, heaters etc as these will all drain the battery.

I once drove mine about 170mile when the power steering belt snapped, i hooked up a battery tester so I could see the useage in real time, and took a spare battery with me just in case!
regards Mark
