#1: Pedal spacing Author: Zedayan, Posted: Wed Oct 10, 2012 10:55 am ---- Strange topic, but I'm wondering if any of you have trouble with the pedals on your 206. When I have my foot on the clutch and depressed the top of my shoes hit the steering column making the steering hard to turn lol.
Now I'm guessing you are meant to be using the top parts of your shoe on the pedal, but I don't feel comfortable doing this as if foot slips there is no bar there to catch and the clutch would fully pop out. I've tried a few different seat positions but still the same, also sometimes i clip the edge of another pedal lol
Anyone else have problems? or am I just strange

Getting used to it now, but everyone who drives it says the same thing.
It could do with a cowling or something.

And it is known that the pedals are closer together in the 206 to most cars. I know you don't want to try using the top part of your shoe, but if you do it with your toes and bend you'r foot it might solve the problem Also if your wearing sensible shoes, your foot shouldn't slip of the pedals

I tend to have the heel of my left foot half way between the clutch pedal and foot rest so I have a fast switch between the two
